A milestone for our growing team
Ten years after founding Cornerstone as a two-person residential renovation company, we are proud to announce the completion of our first major commercial project — a 1,200 square metre office fit-out in Amsterdam Zuid for a Dutch technology firm.
This project represents a significant step for our company. While we have built our reputation on residential construction and heritage renovation, commercial work has always been part of our long-term vision.
What we learned
Commercial construction operates on a different rhythm than residential. The timelines are tighter, the coordination more complex, and the client expectations around communication and reporting are higher. We invested heavily in project management systems and reporting tools to meet these standards, and the investment has paid off.
What comes next
This project has opened doors to further commercial opportunities. We are currently in discussions for two additional office projects, and we plan to grow our commercial team over the coming year.
